Any wine labeled by the Regulatory Committee will have to fulfill all the requirements established in their regulations.

the back-label

The aim of the actions carried out by the Regulatory Committee is to embattle a wine whose characteristics meet  the requirements established for the wines of the region. For that purpose, a control code is designed, specifying the procedure to obtain the Guarantee of Quality and Origin.

Once the wine is elaborated, it undergoes physical-chemical and organoleptical controls, in order to guarantee its quality and origin. This Guarantee is expressed on the back of the bottle by a label (back label), numbered and awarded by the Regulatory Committee.

This black label indicates:

a)    That the wine comes from the geographical environment of the mentioned designation of origin and that it has been produced and/or elaborated under strict regulations.

b)    That the wine has undergone analytic and organoleptical controls, which guarantee the quality of the product.

One of the Regulatory Committee´s tasks is to display the necessary control procedures both during the production of the raw material and in the processes of wine elaboration, as well as those of sampling, once the product is on the market.
